Hi, I'm New to this subreddit but I really need your help regarding something, I have been diagnosed with severe anxiety about five years ago, and since then I have been on prozac , 20 mg to be exact.

Now ,the past 4 days I started taking 40 mg because my life got more stressful (masters degree exams and financial troubles) , instead of getting better, my suicidal thoughts spiked unnaturally and then I become more anxious and got a panic attack today.

Do you guys recommend I go back to 20 mg as soon as possible?? And how long does it take for my system to adjust back to normal, keep in mind that I live in the west bank and don't have much access to psychiatrists all the time.
