Hello everyone. I’m currently on an F-1 student visa in the U.S. I applied for BSN programs for Fall 2026, but unfortunately I was not accepted and now I’m unsure how to maintain my F-1 status for the fall semester since I won’t be transferring to a university yet.

I also just finished all of my nursing prerequisites at a community college, so I’m kind of in between schools right now while planning to reapply for the next admission cycle.

Has anyone been in a similar situation before? What options did you have to maintain your status while waiting to reapply for the next term? Any advice would really help. Thank you!
