Hey everyone,
I’m trying to learn more about neuroprotective compounds that are actually affordable and easy to access, especially for someone on a tight budget.
I’m not looking for anything extreme or experimental—more like:
- OTC supplements
- Common nutrients or compounds
- Things with at least some scientific backing for brain health / nerve protection
Ideally:
- Low cost (student-friendly)
- Available without prescription
- Safe for long-term use
If possible, I’d really appreciate:
- What works (from your experience or research)
- Basic mechanism (how it helps neurons)
- Any risks or things to avoid
I’ve seen stuff like magnesium, omega-3s, etc., but I want to understand what’s actually worth it vs hype.
