I want to say a big thank YOU to everyone in this community. It is because of your constant support and motivation that I passed my PMP with AT across the three domains on my first attempt.

I work in an OTT (media) company, so I had to start my PMP journey with little to no knowledge of the terms used in Traditional or Agile jobs.

Hence, after reading some rave reviews, I bought AR's Udemy 36-hour PDU course on Udemy in February and started learning.

I started AR's Udemy course in mid-February and completed the course by the end of March.

I took my own sweet time to really get to know and learn the different terms and methodologies.

Learning style - I started giving around 2-3 hours to my PMP prep at night, alongside doing my full-time job. Even weekend hours hovered around 3-4 hours max.
Sometimes I took a 1-2 day break in between whenever I felt overwhelmed. I also constantly used to read posts on Reddit to keep me motivated.

Resources

1. AR's Udemy 35-hour PDU - introduced me to the required knowledge base and the realm of PMP

2. Third3Rock PMP notes - helped me to learn the different question types and strategies to answer them. It also covered the things one should know for the PMP exam, removing the fluff. So, if you are someone who is well-versed in the PMP concepts, you can make use of this fantastic resource as a refresher.

3. AR's and MR's mindset videos on YouTube - Highly recommended. It is one of the two important things that I used for my exam prep.

4. AR's 200 ultrahard questions on YouTube - a good set of questions to apply the mindset

6. SH Essentials - can't stress enough on this. It helped me gauge my knowledge and the gaps in my understanding.

My SH scores -

Practice exams - 69% (overall average)

Mini exams - 71% (Overall average)

Full-length mock exam 1 - 79%

Full-length mock exam 2 - 73%

I took the full-length mock exam 1 three days before the actual exam and the second full-length mock exam one day before the actual exam and reviewe my incorrect answers on the same day. I won't recommend this at all.
Please take these exams at an early stage when you feel prepared, and then review the incorrect answers. You don't want unnecessary stress during the last stages of your exam prep**.**

Exam

I booked the exam when I completed AR's Udemy course. I opted for the Pearson in-centre exam.

I booked the exam on May 4 at 10 AM (for the only reason that May the 4th be with me) and got the AT (still can't believe it) result late at night in my email.

I felt my exam was on the same difficulty level as the SH questions. The question prompts were short (1-2 lines); however, when I came down to just two answers, they felt awfully close. A few times, I just clicked on previous and changed the answers.

I got only a single graph question and did not get any drag and drop or calculation questions (unlucky me). I was so looking forward to these questions.

I made use of my two breaks during the exam. I did some shadow boxing and push-ups during these breaks, and I only drank water. Did not eat anything.

I finished my exam 15 mins early.

So, it was a great stress-free experience.

Just believe in yourself. You got this.

All the best!

Feel free to ask me anything if you have any doubts or questions.

P.S. - I did not use AI, so please excuse any grammar mistakes.
