I’m trying to figure out what the previous owner of my 2016 Road Glide had going on with the front suspension. The forks felt extra bouncy, so I tore them down to rebuild them. Inside, I found 13‑inch springs. Is that a normal length for these forks? There were no spacers or special components, and the springs don’t have any markings. I’ve seen longer springs for sale on eBay, so I’m wondering if these 13‑inch ones are correct or if I should replace them with longer springs. I’m planning to run Maxima 15W fork oil. Any advice would be appreciated.
