The recolor isn't my main point, since Loki and Thing also got those, and they still gave them to epic skins last year. But looking on the little extra with the shirt coming off and his MVP having a more detailed background than most Epics still has me convinced that they decided on the rarity during the late stages of development. Thor and Lokis looks more plain, the rivals logo being more prominent in the background which is common for epics, same goes for Thing and even for Mantis.
Looking at the quality of some of the legendaries (recent examples being Hellfire Magik, ESU Invis and Adam) I won't even complain anymore, because I'd rather get a good Epic than a lazy legendary that costs me six extra bucks. If he gets one it's probably gonna be the Adam situation where it feels like they hand us an Epic with an animated nameplate only for us to shut up. The difference being Adam getting tweaks and proper buff attempts while torch is mostly dead. How do you feel about this? Are you still hoping for one or have we reached the point where it doesn't matter anymore
