Bought a secondhand Pfaff 332 for about 71usd. Yeh! But...
First press of the pedal, it worked perfectly. Quiet motor sound.
I started recording to capture it working. But when I pressed the pedal a second time:
it captured cracking and popping sounds. Right after that, smoke started coming out from the back, so I recorded that too.
Posting both videos here—does this look like an old capacitor or motor ?
