Could this be sibo?

Hi all. I got sick last year in July. Severe ruq pain, unintended weight loss, nausea, vomiting, burning, tingling, cold, numb right calf and feet, extreme fatigue and more. I thought maybe it was my gallbladder. My HIDA scan showed it was over active so I got that removed this month.

The symptoms are still there. I was on a few different kinds of antibiotics when I got the symptoms. Does this sound like anyone else’s experience? The burning/numb/tingling/ cold calf and feet really scare me. I’m going to hopefully be tested for sibo at the end of the month.

Still having pain after removal

I’m 16 days post op today. Before removal and now I have severe ruq pain. It’s burning and I have the same burning in my right calf and both feet, also tingling in my calf and feet. My surgeon did say I had scar tissue on my gallbladder but I don’t think this is what’s causing the pain.

I don’t have diabetes, no bloodwork shows liver or pancreas issues. My white blood cells have been high for months. CT scans and ultrasounds have never showed anything wrong with my gallbladder or liver but pathology showed my gb was swollen also.

This is very frustrating and have no idea what to think but I don’t want to live my life like this. Has anyone had the same experience? I was really hopeful getting my gb removed would fix this problem.

Hi all. I’m a 30 year old female. This pain started almost a year ago. I was convinced it was my gallbladder. Severe ruq pain with burning and gnawing, unintentional weight loss, severe nausea, loose oily stools, yellow corners of eyes. Got a HIDA scan that showed I had a hyperkinetic gallbladder, got that removed last week.

I know I’m very newly post op, and my pathology report said chronic cholecystitis and I had scar tissue from it being so inflammed.. But this burning pain hasn’t gone away. The burning also goes down my calf and my right foot. It hurts when I press right where my liver is.

No blood work or imaging has ever shown I have liver problems, no diabetes or anything like that, no blood clots. My white blood cells have been high though. I really thought maybe getting my gallbladder removed would have fixed this problem. Has anyone else had the same? My doctors don’t know what’s wrong with me and I just want my old life back.

Today is day 9 post op for my hyperkinetic gallbladder. My EF was 96% on the HIDA scan. I have severe burning and gnawing pain in my ruq and the same burning feeling in my right calf and foot.

I thought maybe it was from inflammation and to give it some time since my pathology report said I had chronic swelling of the gallbladder. I’m trying to stay positive and hope it will eventually go away. Has anyone had this issue with the burning and even the burning in your foot too?

I do not have diabetes or liver problems.

I made another post which I’m surprised by because that anesthesia fuuuuuucked me up I have been so out of it!!! I’ve been up and walking around and the pain honestly isn’t bad. I have 0 pain tolerance and it’s like a 3 out of 10.

I’ve taken less than 5 norcos since I’ve been home and have just been using ibuprofen. The absolute worst part of all of this for me has been the anesthesia. Going to sleep was not bad, but I’ve never been under before and I just can’t believe how long it’s taking me to feel normal again.

I kind of feel confused, but not really? I’m definitely lightheaded still at 6 days post op, but I guess you could say brain fog. I know my name and stuff like that but my head just doesn’t feel right. I’ve been chugging tons of water and Gatorade trying to flush everything out of my system.

My oxygen has been low since surgery. The nurse I spoke to today said 90% is low but if it goes under 88 I need to go to the ER immediately. I’ve been trying to do deep breathing to get my oxygen back up. I’ve been saturating at around 90% but no physical symptoms Ike shortness of breath or anything.

Today I ate a cheeseburger and was totally fine!! No stomach upset and no rushing to the bathroom which I was honestly so surprised about. Hopefully the next few days this weird head feeling brain fog goes away.
