New to this, don’t even have bees yet. Local nuc will be ready at the end of the month. Built a stand today.

Will be putting shelves on the outside of the corner posts (both sides).

Any input on this build or placement be for the bees go in?
Standing in the front of it, you’re looking north east. To the right is my vegetable/fruit garden and compost bin. In front is the old fire ring that is going to be where we put fruit trees.

The stand is 4, 4x4s as the corner posts. The cross braces are 4x6s flat against the posts, 4x6 cross braces hung with joist hangers and a 2x4 on the front and back, flat against it all and screwed down to the braces. Left to right, it’s perfectly level. Front to back, there’s a 1/4” tilt forward so water drains.

Any feedback is appreciated. Will be able to make adjustments before the bees come.
