The Excelsior II with updated nacelles

In my quest to show interest in giving the Excelsior II the uniform picard era bussard collectors, I edited the Drexler's bussards over the ship as a concept of how good it would look. That said if they look funky, its because i forgot to account for how steep the Excelsior's nacelles bend. But i do love the rounded square look.

A bridge 3 decks big aside, how do people feel about warp cores being exposed? I forget how much of an issue it was in Voyager, but after all the near warp core breaches that happened in TNG, it makes me a little concerned to have it exposed like a big bullseye for everyone to see. I suppose if guarded by enough super structure it may be alright, but I would also be concerned as a captain or relative of crew aboard these ships, and STO's original miracle worker cruisers.

Edit: Thanks to Diochimhneach, its been clarified that this is actually a turbo lift.
