I am curently riding old Duotone Slick Wings (2022 SLS 5.5m and 2023 4.5m). I really like the duotone boom feel and for this reason mostly considered duotone. I was about to purchase a 5m 2025 unit and a 6m sls 2025 for low wind. I have a feel that Duotone is the Apple of wingfoiling, and way too costly vs other brands (androids).
A dealer near me recently made a 50% deal on all Cabrinha V5 wings with boom, I can get two or 3 cabrinha V5 wings for one duotone unit 2025. What are your thoughts on Cabrinha wings? I never considered these previously and don't see a lot of people riding them. This would allow me to expand my quiver with modern wings for way cheaper and also have a low wind wing (6m) for way cheaper than 2 unit 2025. Do Cabrinha Wings perform well in low wind (7-12 knots) and overall in 12-25 knots range and wave riding vs duotone?
Also, would you recommend the vision or mantis? I mostly ride gustly inland lakes and want to focus wave riding long term.
