Looking to get my first real road or tt bike - and am mainly wondering if this would be a good deal or if it’s overpriced?
I’ve been riding on and off over the past few years on a gmc denali I pulled out of the back of my parents garage (hey, don’t judge me, it was free). It held up fine for my first sprint tri, but it is rough around the edges.
I was originally planning to get a road bike instead of a tt. However, the tt is appealing to me, especially with plans for an Olympic distance race this fall and hopefully a 70.3 in the next year or so. I don’t do group rides and really would only be using it for training/racing. Would this bike be worth it, or would it be better to just look for a solid road bike for now?
