When it falls into water, it despawns immediately, at least for me. Which sucks, because despite maxxing out all of my stats, throwing it to take it along onto harder to access places is cumbersome and clunky.
It desperately needs some sort of base station where it rests until I need it. It will literally jump into the water, killing itself, unless I lock it into the bottom part of my ship, where it will shoot at walls and rip Fortiholds off my walls like a chaotic toddler.
When I built my first one, I accidentally tripped into the ocean, and this god damn thing calmly crawled into the water like /\( ^ ^ )/\ and DISAPPEARED
Please let me have my cute companion, but give me the ability to like. Strap it to myself, go into standby, and put it into storage so I don't have to listen to its faint, sad clanking noises from its prison below the deck
