Feng Xin forced himself to plead, "Let... let His Highness go! He's already suffered enough. Don't, to him..."

This line when he thought Hua Cheng would genuinely hurt/violate Xie Lian. It was so raw and vulnerable. He knew he couldn't beat Hua Cheng and was begging for mercy for Xie Lian. I've re-read that line so many times, it just hurts.

Additionally, I believe that if Feng Xin knew that Xie Lian called out for him when he found his parents, it would break him. I kind of wanted that to be revealed to him at some point just to see more of the raw emotion he feels towards His Highness.
