So I've been scouring the Internet looking for information on a good beginner chuck. While it seems everyone has a different recommendation, I appreciate all the knowledge I've gained from it. However, it's left me with the "okay, so what do I go with".

What I've been looking at so far are the three sizes of Grizzly chucks, 3.75" , 4.5" , and 5.5". But mainly the 4.5" because I feel while the of the 5.5" would be perfect for me, I can still manage with the 4.5" faceplate.

I've also been hearing a lot of talk about the Nova line of chucks and would prefer the SuperNova line as the Allen chuck key seems to be better to use amongst the wood turners I've talked to.

The thing I've hit now is the Grizzly 4.5" is sold out and the SuperNova2 appears to be discontinued.

Does anyone have options that are similar to these, in a similar price range, that would be good for a beginner who's looking to turn some 6-7" bowls and spindle projects like bottle stoppers and handles and such?
