I (28F) have TLE and will be trying to conceive with my husband in the next 1-2 years. I need to establish care with a new OBGYN in the Minneapolis, MN area (preferably western suburbs).

I asked my epileptologist (Mayo Clinic) if he had any recommendations for OBGYN practitioners or clinics in our area who specialize in epilepsy management before/during/after pregnancy, but he didn’t have any. He just encouraged finding a hospital with a Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) division as I’ll be higher risk.

Any fellow Minnesota folks here who have an OB who’s experienced in epilepsy management? Or think I will be fine going with a general OB + MFM?
