Hey all, recently picked this enfield up from a private seller. I'm trying to make sense of it's possibly history. I tore it down for inspection and cleaning and found two manufacturer codes. The square with the "S" for Savage on all of the wood furniture and bolt body and bolt head. The bolt matches the serial on the reciever, the barrel bands are stamped with "B" for BSA possibly? The rear sight also has the same stamp and the front sight has the savage stamp. Couldn't find FTR markings but the rifle itself looks great. Any help on making sense of the mix of the two parts is appreciated.
