Hi. I'm 19F, 5'5", and 220lbs. I got diagnosed with PCOS in February of last year after over a year of on and off missed periods. I was able to get my periods consistent through excersize for a few months after my diagnosis, and didn't think it was that big of a deal.
I was 165lbs six months ago. I haven't gotten a regular period since January. I started working out again and eating healthier (whole foods, monitoring dairy and carbs) and ive been consistent for two months, but it's done nothing for my period or my weight. I had lost 10lbs, but it came right back again. My OBGYN put me on a loestrin BC pill and I started it pretty recently so I don't know if it's doing any good yet.
I'm really confused and don't know anyone personally with my experience, I've never shopped for supplements or vitamins so I have no idea what to get. Anyone have advice on what has helped you with weight or your period regulation?
