Okay, so, I need to start by apologizing to everyone who I asked for an opinion from. I presented very clear options and got some incredibly supportive and thoughtful answers.

However as the wedding approached I just wasn't feeling comfortable with any of my options. The color palette was supposed to be pastels and all my clothes were either too dark or non formal enough or something I had already worn. They were also just not really speaking to me or fun or interesting to me at that moment. I love the clothes I have and I think they fit well but I really needed something with a bit more mustard that was better for my desired expression, was more bright, and something I hadn't done before.

I ordered the pants on Wednesday and my roommate let me borrow her white button down because mine was, admittedly, kind of a POS I found at a goodwill and it was the first thing I grabbed. The vest I had and was struggling to find a use for and it just seemed to go perfectly with the larger shirt of my roommate. I wore the black heeled booties with it too and I kind of loved how it all came together

She assembled it all a few hours before the wedding the day of and I think it was way more of what I wanted to be wearing AND also way better for the theme. Perfect for something in Spring by the beach. And I got a bunch of compliments which I pretend to hate but won't shy away from.

I just wanted to share some photos of me with my friends and partner because I'm still kind of riding the high of a fun time and also to share some ideas for people who have upcoming weddings and need an outfit that isn't quite the status quo of suit or dress that you can still feel good in
