I started the heather pill over a month ago and on my second pack. This pack is my first pack having a period on it as last pack I just started the birth control first day of my cycle.

I am taking birth control not for the avoiding pregnancy aspect but because I have endometriosis and started my period 4 months pp and don't want heavy periods or cramps. So far I have had zero cramping BUT I have literally been bleeding for over 12 days now. I had an OB appt and she said she would switch me to slyd if I was still bleeding another week.

Anyone experience this? It's not spotting either it's full on bleeding with clots and constantly changing my pad. I'm so tired of bleeding 😭 I have to take progesterone only bc of endo and because I'm breastfeeding.

Is this normal? Should I just stop the birth control rn and switch to slynd?

We currently do a mix of BLW and purées. I use Beechnut, happy tot and serenity for the purées if I don't make my own. Some of these get expensive and I think for most it's like one maybe two days max in the fridge if they don't finish. If my son doesn't finish them in the proper timeframe or I know isn't going to finish it I just eat it or if there is jus a little bit left and not worth saving😭 I HATE wasting food and wasting food is also wasting money.
