24 Passengers and Staff remaining from the MV Hondius where passengers contracted Hantavirus will be shipped to Arrowe Park Hospital for isolation upon returning to the UK. The patients arriving have not contracted the virus, those that have will be transferred to another facility.

The blocks used to isolate the passengers and staff will be the same accommodation block units used for quarantine measures for those affected by the coronavirus pandemic in 2020.

Patients showing no symptoms will be transferred to Arrowe Park Hospital, and are to start using the isolation facilities from 10th May. If becoming affected during the isolation period, patients will be transferred to another facility.
