Just wanted to give a few updates today regarding feedback from my previous post. Check it out here if you missed it: FGCGuessr - A Rank Guessing Game

On to the changes, I listened to the feedback regarding the amount of ranks and agreed that it was generally very difficult to tell the difference between a Gold 1 and a Gold 5 for example, but at the same time there were a few people who suggested consolidating the ranks would not be fun and that there are clear differences at these ranks.
So to accomodate and strike a Balance, I have decided to keep the ranks as is without consolidating them, but I have removed the subranks. So for clips below Master a user would only have to guess the correct league (Iron-Diamond). This should make it a bit easier but still keep it interesting as there are clear differences within these ranks.
Another big change is that Clips are separated between Below Masters and Masters and Above, so if a clip is submitted for E.g. Platinum, it will only show you the ranks of (Iron-Diamond) to guess and likewise for Clips that are Masters and above, It will only show Masters - Legend for possible guesses. This should give a bit more context to these short clips so guesses are not completely off based on a limited amount of information.
These changes alongside changes to scoring and the point dropoff/calculation have been made more consistent.
There's other cool modes that I have planned that will be coming soon including a revamp of Ranked Mode, changes to the daily wordle (Fightdle) and other game modes.
As the userbase grows I will be in need of more clips, so if you'd like your clips to be featured please do so by submitting them in.
