Please don’t ask which batch what profile etc. or DM. This advice is only one way. Ofc this post is worded by AI.

One thing I genuinely want to tell incoming MBA students is this:

A huge part of your MBA experience will happen outside classrooms. The late-night food orders, random plans, outings, weekend trips where a lot of real friendships and networks are built.

And the truth is, if you repeatedly opt out because of money, you will unintentionally distance yourself from those shared experiences, because human relationships are built through time spent together.

I come from a humble background myself, so this isn’t coming from a place of privilege.

I’m not saying live extravagantly or spend irresponsibly. But don’t spend two years living like a miser either. Don’t skip outings, just to save a little more money.

And if family support or savings are an issue, remember that banks also provide monthly living expense support.

At the end of the day, an extra lakh saved may not change your life much. The friendships, memories, and support systems you build during these two years just might.
