So Lava Beast was my guinea pig. It was a little tougher to find clear photos of intact cardbacks than you would think. Pretty happy about how it turned out. Considering upgrading the size to maybe a 6 inch figure bubble? That way you can display the opened playset in front of the cardback. Also going to laminate the cards and adhere them to the backs of the cases. So I have some questions!

  1. Try 6 inch bubbles for open set displays?
  2. Printing the backs of the cardbacks for the other side?

What do you guys think?

Didn’t care about these a whole lot as a kid, but now that I’m an adult I have a greater appreciation and admiration for the work and creativity that went into making them. While they don’t any moveable objects or monsters, they make excellent display sets and I really really enjoy them

Vader Appreciation Post

In light of our boy Chad Vader’s victory over the pleb Maul, here’s a quick look at my growing Vader shrine. What am I missing here? Looking for something that will really make it stand out

Recently, Darth Vader was seen confronting the former Sith Lord Maul and some rogue Jedi. While pleased with the outcome, our favorite Sith Lord decides to teach Vader some humillty anyway.

Hey guys. Ive been wondering about something. I also collect vintage Star Wars figures from the 70s and I’ve seen some collectors using custom card backs for thier 3.75 in figure bubbles. So I’m wondering…because it’s unlikely I’ll ever assemble a complete sealed collection (and because it’s just more fun to be able to move them) if it might be possible to do the same thing with the MM sets. Where would I even find clear pics of the card backs I could imaging tools to clean up and print to size? What do you guys think?
