Just making it easier for those of you who weren't able to find a fix for this error after trying all the other solutions you saw online. What worked for me after finding a 2 year old post, go to your install folder SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\EA SPORTS WRC\Engine\Binaries\ThirdParty and rename the OpenXR folder to OpenXRback. Hope it helps!
