My 2025 Crown Signia had an outstanding Safety Recall "Combination Meter May Go Blank." I was able to update the 12.3 display software over wifi, a so called Over the Air Update" to Display 1004. After downloading, it installed and was activated when I restarted my car. I believe this to be the safety recall update. It was obviously much easier than scheduling an appointment with the dealership and leaving it for three hours.
