Availability of broad spectrum concentrate after hemp ban
Will broad spectrum concentrate be available after the hemp ban takes effect in November?
I know existing concentrates will be legal to sell, but what about when the current supply runs out? The way the law is written with the strict limits on intermediates, I don't see any way to legally manufacture any kind of hemp concentrate.
Using milk as an analogy: Imagine that whole milk in any form was illegal. Skim milk would be legal to sell, but milk comes out of the cow as whole milk, and anyone possessing whole milk, even dairy farmers, would be breaking the law. It would be impossible to process whole milk into skim milk while following the law. Similarly, it would be impossible to legally manufacture CBD isolate or broad spectrum concentrates, because your starting material, hemp concentrate, would contain well over 0.3% total THC.
Does anyone see a legal pathway for manufacturing hemp concentrates?
