I have been working as a grossing tech for the last two years in a small private laboratory. Since we are so small it is a part time position even though I am the only gross tech. I am unable to save to apply for a masters program with my current wage, is it worth it to give up this direct experience for a full time medical assistant role to be able to save? Or does that only weaken my application?
