I’m DIYing a grow spot to get my plants started for an eventual shift outside. Plants are going in an uninsulated barn loft zone 6B (Ct.) my plan is to make a wooden frame about 3ft tall with a tarp and maybe a blanket over it. I have a grow bulb however will this generate enough heat? Should I add a heat lamp bulb or would that be too much in turn?

Me and a buddy are planning on growing some stuff 100% outside in zone 6B. Is this feasible? Please advise on tips for outside growing, I don’t mean a greenhouse I mean the middle of the woods could I germinate and start from seed directly outside? Do I need to start inside in 6B? Strains that would work well?
