Hi everyone,
I’m a parent in Mississauga looking into beginner hockey options for my child and was hoping to hear some firsthand experiences.

Has anyone here had kids in the Port Credit Hockey Association, especially First Shift or early house-league programs?
I’d love to hear feedback on:

Overall experience for young beginners
Coaching style and organization
How welcoming/supportive it is for kids brand new to hockey
Anything you wish you’d known before registering

Not looking for competitive hockey at this stage — mostly fun, fundamentals, and a positive first experience.
