Hi, I don’t really know if this is the right place to ask but I’m honestly a bit lost right now.
My account just got closed because of a trademark issue on one of my book covers. It was a Canva Pro element I used. I genuinely thought it was fine for commercial use because it said so on the licensing page, but I now realize I should’ve read the full terms more carefully. So yeah, it was basically my mistake, just not intentional at all.
Now everything is gone and the royalties are being held.
I’ve tried appealing but it got rejected.
I’m just wondering if anyone here has actually been in a similar situation… is there any chance at all to get the account back or at least recover the royalties?
I’m a stay-at-home mom and I’ve been publishing on KDP for almost 2 years. It’s not a big business but it’s my main income stream. Feeling pretty stuck right now.
Any advice would really help.
