I got scammed by a Meta Verified page of a known resort and same Resort name of their Land Bank acct
I have recently hot scammed and sent money to a landbank account under the account name:
Villa Angelina Lux Suite
Acct Number: 0676108432
I used my BPI account to pay Php 24,650, then Taptap Send 4,000.
This payment is suppose to be for a room booking at the resort.
But however they didnt provide any confirmation and their social media just gone missing and they have blocked me for me to unable to contact them. It was a meta verified account. With 30k followers.
I have contacted BPI as clearly I won't be getting the services/booking that I paid since they blocked me and I can't reach them after paying and tried calling BPI hotline straight away but all their numbers even international toll numbers doesnt work as I am an OFW here in UK. I also sent an email complaint but no response from BPI. I also made a BSP Complaint for Landbank of the Philippines as it's the receiving bank. So I did another BSP complaint to BPI as I wont be receiving the services I have paid.
Is there a chance that I get my hard earned money back? I know parang ang tanga ko lang nagsend ng pera pero landbank yan eh, all I know they thoroughly check IDs in making accounts.
