Last month the electricity bill was 4000, I thought it was normal… but this time it jumped straight to 8826

I just couldn't figure out where all this consumption is coming from, at my place there's just one fan, one cooler, and one AC… and even those run only occasionally

So how did the bill get this high? When I checked the reading, the units were showing even higher than before

Then it hit me, ever since this new smart meter got installed, this has been happening

With the old meter, it never crossed 5000, now every month just looking at the bill gives me a shock

Truth be told, now I'm regretting it, I keep thinking I shouldn't have gotten it changed, at most I'd have to make 2–4 trips to the office but at least the money would've been saved

Now I get scared every month just to look at the bill

One wrong decision and I have to pay for it every month
