Sick of life in the province. Any recs for places to move to as a permanent WFH night shift?

Sana magets niyo ako pero I'm sick of this isolated life in the province. Alam niyo yung feeling na sobrang layo mo from your friends and you're not a part of their memories 😭😭😭 Tapos sarado na lahat ng establishments pag gabi eh night owl ako!! Matagal ko na rin talagang pangarap na bumukod at tumira sa MNL. I'm just giving myself permission to now. Enough stalling!!!!

Currently my top 3 choices are Mandaluyong, Cubao, and Pasig. I've airbnb'd enough in these places to know that they're ideally where I want to live. The vibes were always just right for me (if u get me u get me). It's also easy to get around for errands and other stuff. I love exploring cities kasi ahdjafjjs honestly I'm just trying to optimize for the complete opposite of my situation here at home (which I am sick of).

Do u guys have insights on where you live and how the living situation+transpo is there so I might take them into consideration when moving? I'm open to exploring other options (as far as Antipolo and Laguna) especially if it's cheaper. It just has to hopefully be not noisy kasi I sleep in the day and have some semblance of nightlife. Also given na ang security and privacy bc I'll be taking some important things with me.

Is 15k/mo for rent reasonable if my pay is 63k net?

I crunched the numbers and anlaki ng gastos ko if ever :(( Ang sakit ng 75% of salary napunta sa needs HAHAHAHAHHA

I'm planning to move to manda kasi and there's barely any furnished condos below 15k. I know I could just rent a cheaper place but I'm willing to pay a premium for security, amenities, and proximity to friends. Utilities mahal because permanent WFH ako so babad talaga sa aircon and I need super fast fiber internet for my work. Food naman is inooverestimate ko lang but included na kasi diyan yung eating out plus I'm planning to eat more so I can get more gains sa gym. Mej malaki health because I'm taking meds and I'm planning to get braces. I can cut down on the online shopping naman but honestly 2.5k/mo on discretionary spending is probably what's going to happen regardless. Lastly yung bigay sa bahay is utilities (internet+water+electricity) for one person and cat food and cat litter. Solo living nga pero kailangang suportahan ang bahay hahaha

Ayun any thoughts huhuhu

P.S. Let me know kung gusto niyo ng template I can share

I've been going to the gym fairly regularly. Sure, there's like up to 3 weeks that I'm not able to go because of travel and other things, but I'm able to bounce back very quickly and get into the groove again.

Why can't I do this for literally everything else in my life? Just for example, I wanna get better at programming but I can't for the life of me get it to stick. Same goes for any other skill or hobby that I get into.

How do I achieve the same mentality as I have in the gym? Is it because I'm able to track my progress thru Hevy? Probably not because I dropped Duolingo less than 3 months after starting. It could be the fact that I love seeing my body improve. Unfortunately that's not very apparent or measurable with something like programming. I just want things to stick just like they do with the gym.
