Don't get me wrong, I love all of the adaptations of Pride and Prejudice and honestly all of the Austen novels, but the 2005 version of P&P is my personal favorite. And aside from the main characters, I just LOVE Donald Sutherland as Mr. Bennett. He's so cute in that role. The scene where Mr. Darcy proposed and they're waiting to get Mr. Bennett's approval, so darn cute!! He just does such a good job of showing the relationship between him and Elizabeth. I just watched it again and felt compelled to see how many fellow fans feel the same way.
