I'm a homeschool student with a lot of extra time on my hands and I think it would be great to have a part time job and my living conditions aren't the best as I'm not living with my mom and I'm living with my sister as my mom isn't in a financial place to have me live with her right now. I'm not mad at her at all. But I think it would be great if I can get a job too so that me and my mother can both contribute to a place to live. So here's my question. What places can I apply to that would allow a teenager to work there? I'm very hardworking. And there's nothing I wouldn't be willing to do.

My father was an alcoholic for most of my life and he eventually drank himself to death when I was 14. I remember begging him every time he drank to please stop and he never did. So I've been wanting to heard from some recovering alcoholics on what made you guys stop?
