This just landed in my emails this morning. Has anyone else got it? Or was it only sent to people who hadn't logged on in a while?
Subject - Where are you, Five?
Body - Wow, this is weird. It feels, I don’t know, a bit like sending a message in a bottle – you chuck it into the ocean and hope that someday, somewhere, someone will see it floating there and decide to fish it out. I don’t even know if you’ve got access to Rofflenet anymore, Five. I mean, I don’t even know if you’re… Yeah.
You know they say it’s always darkest before the dawn. Well it’s been dark for months now and I’m starting to wonder if the sun even exists anymore. But I’m choosing to believe that you’re out there somewhere, reading this, because we really, really need you. I’m keeping the faith, and wherever you are, I know you must be too.
And we’ll see each other again. I’m choosing to believe that too. So if you are reading this, hang in there, Five. Things will get better – or we’ll make them better, together. We always have before.
