How to Micro dose Accutane for acne?
Hi everyone, I deal with some minor acne across my face and back. Nothing terribly bad, but it is consistent as in my skin is never in a fully clean state. I am currently on 0.05% Tretinoin and doing 0.025 for a while. I have tried other antibiotics for a while when I was younger. I have been prescribed accutane by my dermatologist before, but I always went with the topical routine for the most part because I was worried about messing up my growth. I am a male standing at 6’2 170 lbs so I don’t really have much to worry about because I have surpassed what my doctors thought I would be considering my parents height. I want to see if micro dosing accutane at around 10 mg - 20 mg can help clear up the stubborn acne I am facing. I have a solid routine right now for topical including benzoyl peroxide, azelaic, gentle cleanser, and tretinoin. Has anyone done low doses of accutane before and seen success? (Another question is: did you drink while on accutane?) Any help will be greatly appreciated!
