Considering buying a Razr v3

After finishing the Flip Side, I thought about how satisfying using flip phones must be. I'm too young to have personally owned one, but, with "flip phones" today just being smartphones that you can fold in two instead of actual clamshells, I'd like to try one of the old-school (millenials forgive me) phones like Jecka's legendary T/Motorola RAZR v3. Nicole's slide/horizontal phone is definitely OldSchoolCool worthy as well, but it doesn't look as interesting to use, and I believe it's a bit older - 2002 instead of 2004 - so finding one that still works will be even harder.

I don't think making the switch will be that hard given that I barely use my smartphone right now. I have barely 10 hours of screentime a week (don't compare, I'm just making a point).

Can anyone who has actually owned one of these share their thoughts? Do you think it's worth it to move from smartphones to a simpler phone? By the way, sorry if this has little to do with the game itself.

Such a cathartic game

I've just finished playing all 3 games, and they were absolutely amazing. I'd never tried visual novels before, but I read a lot and the dialogue is unlike anything I'd ever seen; despite some endings being a bit convoluted or less believable than others, the characters are incredibly realistic and kept me hooked for hours. In fact, I played through all the games in only 3 days.

I'm guessing, as SBN3 explains in his "text to the community" in the Flip Side, that most of us come from very different backgrounds and like Class of '09 for different reasons. However, as a mostly sheltered and introverted white guy, I have to say that seeing almost inevitable horrible situations play out and deeply flawed yet always snarky and nonchalant characters interact in the game's highschool setting helped me cope with not having done wilder stuff before graduating.

So many people should play this game. I believe its story and characters are written in such a way that even radicals have to somewhat agree with its message. Or maybe I'm just easily swayed. At any rate, it's very insightful and it's allowed me to, in a way, connect with American culture unlike any other game has allowed for.

By the way, I did not find the 3rd game different from the other 2 in the slightest. Is this still a hot take?

Do you believe this game can change people? Or am I just taking too seriously?

I know some people don't like him or a certain part of his work, but he's created the franchise I've been obsessed with for the past five years, and definitely think he ought to be celebrated somewhat.

PS: I'm not sure if today is his birthday, I just found this info online.
PS2: Today is his birthday, 100%.
