I’m a Project Manager working in Information Governance at a UK council. I’m relatively young for the role, but I’ve progressed quickly off the back of delivering real outcomes rather than just time in post.
Over the past year I designed and rolled out a full FOI (Freedom of Information) case management system using Microsoft 365.
It’s live and handling hundreds of requests a month. It took compliance from around 68% to consistently ~90% without adding more staff, and it’s been through audit.
The reason I built it is because the existing tools in this space are honestly pretty poor. They’re admin-heavy, hard to report on, and don’t really help teams stay on top of statutory deadlines.
I’ve had interest from other areas for something similar, so I’m now looking at turning this into a proper product rather than something that sits inside one organisation.
I’m not a developer, so I’m looking for someone technical who’d want to partner on this properly, not just freelance it. The idea would be to build an MVP and see how far we can take it.
What I bring is the working system, the domain knowledge, and access to the kind of users who actually need this.
What I’m looking for is a full stack dev who’s up for building something from the ground up and is open to equity rather than upfront payment. Ideally UK-based just for ease of working together and understanding the market.
If it sounds even slightly interesting, just message me and we can have a conversation about it.
