Hey everyone, as I get more into this hobby I realize that the more you are willing to create by hand the better. Making your own CVG is satisfying and much more economical than buying premade bags, and it is much easier to dial in the moisture content.

I want to start creating my own grain bags instead of buying them online, as they are a cost and I keep getting bags that seem too dry or with burst grains. I only have an instant pot, and don't really have a ton of space to add a pressure cooker to my kitchen. I've seen a lot of people say that they've had success with an instant pot, but the instructions seem a little unclear and I'm nervous to screw something up.

If anyone is kind enough to comment a step by step or link me to a step by step on how to make sterile grain bags in an instant pot , myself and I'm sure many others in the community would appreciate it very much! Thanks in advance

The top of this bag won't fully colonize either, guessing it got dry as I buy my spawn bags pre-made (really need to figure out if I can make them myself using an instant pot). Did break and shake twice and it was slow to colonize. IF this seems okay to send, I have a different area of my house where I can isolate the bin, and I will discard the less colonized grains on the top and the grains surrounding the weird discolored ones, but it sounds like it would likely be a waste of time. Thanks in advance!
