Are IUD strings supposed to be this long?

I have IUD Kyleena for since may 6, yesterday I checked myself with fingers for the first time because my periods and spotting ended and I wanted to know how it feels now. I touched IUD string and it felt kinda long, about 2cm probably.

My doc said to wait at least for two weeks before any sexual or physical activity, and ofc I will follow this.

I read that those strings soften overtime and wrap around the cervix. If they won't wrap, is it still safe to have sex like that? Or should I after these 2 weeks go back to my gynecologist and ask her to trim them?

Sorry if this all sounds stupud, I'm just scared to accidentally break or rip out this thing, it was very expensive for me

Thanks for your time!

My hair were always weird. They're not straight, but not obviously curly. I always have some frizz, even when they're perfectly healthy, a couple stray curls here and there, get tangled super fast. My mom has gorgeous curls(3a-3b) effortlessly, and I thought I have some potential too. But every time it was a mess, 1+ hour with blow-dryer, uncountable amount of scrunches, 2-3 wet t-shirts, and all that for kinda pathetic crunchy curls/waves that will be ruined in the morning.

How I did my "curly routine":

  1. Wash my hair twice with Schauma men's shampoo

  2. Apply Kallos Keratin hair mask for 3 mins and detangle my hair

  3. Apply local brands hair foam(with the strongest fixation) and scrunch

  4. Wrap my hair in cotton shirt

  5. Blow dry with diffuser

  6. Feel pathetic

Here are some pictures in order - my hair when I do my regular routine(shampo-mask-let it dry naturally), stray curls captured in nature, my best attempts at curly girl method, my wet and scrunched with foam hair

Are my hair just not made to be wavy/curly and I should give up, or I'm just doing something wrong? Any help appreciated, have a great day!!
