The Way To The Archmage Tower – A Tier 2 Witherwild Adventure !!!

Hello!!

Just uploaded a Tier 2 Witherwild Adventure to Heart of Daggers! It is an adventure that can be run in three, 3 hour sessions, a total runtime of around 8-9 hours designed for five to six level 2 players!

It has puzzles, combat, social encounters, etc! Here is a little background of the adventure!

The party has gathered information that Archmage Phalax keeps the Giant Owl Nikta at the top of the tower.

The Fanewright’s plan is to infiltrate the tower and remove the Owl’s eye in order to bring balance to the continent and, hopefully, eliminate the Witherwild curse. However, she cannot accomplish this through brute force. The Fanewright has a spy inside the tower who will allow her forces to enter and confront Owl Nikta. She has summoned the party for this important quest.

This is a Tier 2 Witherwild adventure designed for 8 to 9 hours of playtime. The adventure is divided into scenes.

Scene 1 can beone three hour session; Scene 2 and Scene 3 can be combined to be another three hour session; Scene 4, the epic finale, can be the last three hour session.

Hello!!

This is session 1 of our Five Banners Burning Mini-campaign!!

This session is heavily focused on roleplay, with (spoiler) NO combat — very different from many of the campaigns I’ve run in the past.

INVESTIGATION SESSIONS, SOCIAL ENCOUNTERS, AND STRESS

What makes this campaign different from anything I have run so far is that the characters are investigating the disappearance of an NPC, so much of the session is spent gathering clues, investigating locations, and socializing with NPCs.

However, that does not mean the characters avoid complications. Throughout the session, they face social pressure and difficult situations. Instead of losing health, the characters are accumulating Stress, which becomes more dangerous the more they gain.

One thing I really enjoy about Daggerheart is that consequences are not limited to combat or hit points. This has probably been one of the sessions where I’ve seen characters gain the most Stress.
