Mother’s Day
Just venting. Period is right around the corner so it sucks knowing another 24-48 and it would have been all different. 35f is a nurse and gets home around 8:15 from her 12 hr shifts. Spent all day scrubbing and cleaning, folding, tucking, watering etc. kept the (3) kids up for an extra 30 min so they could give her their mother day gifts. Made bacon, French toast, mixed berries and fried chicken.
First thing she said was “why did you make fried chicken, that’s weird.” I said for protein, she said the bacon was enough. OK.
Tucked the kids in while she showered then spent the rest of the evening on our phones. Missed a nice evening by 48 hours.
