I bought a suppressor for my AR. Love it but I was getting gas to the face initially so I did some reading and decided to go with several upgrades, but I think I over did it. Good news no gas to the face. Bad news I get one shot off and it won’t cycle the next round. I have ideas of what’s next but I’d like some opinions on where to start.

  1. I got a superlative arms adjustable gas block. I tightened and loosened it all the way and still had the same issues. I thought that was strange. I assumed if my weight was a bit much I could just gas my gun up but it made zero difference. I’m fairly certain I installed it correctly however if you have concerns about that let me know!

  2. I bought an A5 length buffer tube.

  3. I bought an A5 length geissele braided spring.

  4. I bought an A5 length H3 weight.

I think my issue is I went with too heavy of a weight. It being an A5 buffer weight means it weighs a bit more than a carbine H3. Along with the other upgrades it may just be too much. Should I start with getting an H1 weight or is there something else I should start with?

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
