I’ve just launched ParentSpace, a simple tool to help parents check whether supermarket parent & child spaces are actually reliable before setting off.

I started testing it around Maidstone/Kent and the feedback was useful, so I’m expanding into other areas.

The idea is simple: “has parent parking” doesn’t tell you whether the spaces are actually usable when you arrive.

It doesn’t tell you whether:

- they’re usually full

- they’re misused

- there’s enough room to get a baby seat/pram out

- the route to the shop is safe with kids

- one supermarket is less stressful than another

If you know a Brighton/Sussex supermarket car park that’s good or awful for parent spaces, one quick rating would really help:

Also interested to hear which ones parents avoid.
