Hey, I’m planning to get for my next car a 2018-2022 ish octavia 1.5 cng car. (In germany) to replace my ford fiesta st (2015)

is the car still useable in 2026? I know that they basically gave up making new cng cars sadly, but will the current infrastructure of stations stay? Who owns it, do you have any extra issues compared to benzine? Is there something i should pay attention to?

i want to get it to reduce my impact, and while electric is fun, i could refuel cng much faster, and even if i have to replace the tank, seems like better than replacinf battieries…

i drive a lot, around 40-50k km a year btw.

is the automatic okay? I rather have manual, but currently on the market I cannot find manuals…
