I’ve been getting really into breakcore lately and I’ve noticed that a lot of the themes, aesthetics, and even distribution methods feel kind of aligned with anarchist ideas (anti-establishment, DIY production, rejection of mainstream structures, etc.).

So I wanted to ask: is there actually a historical or philosophical connection between anarchism and breakcore, or am I just projecting patterns here?

Are there specific artists, labels, or scenes that were explicitly influenced by anarchist thought? Or is it more of an overlap in attitude rather than ideology?
