"This thing is going to functionally be a performance review"
How dare the evil Fed evaluate my wrestlers based on their in-ring ability, popularity and drawing power?! This is so unfair!!!

Chaser: "What gets me as a writer, especially with medicated ADHD (which is relevant because I now notice flaws I never did before after watching the same films for years), is the quality of the writing.
I literally turned off four movies today within 5 minutes because they didn’t grip me within those 5 minutes. I like fast-paced or slow-burn, but the story has to be there and good. I can tell what it’s gonna be within 5 minutes because I've studied storytelling for decades.
Modern WWE stories typically go too long, too short (i.e., just when picking up steam), or are thrown off a cliff like their Thanos’ favorite child.
There’s no one in that company telling 3-act stories like Hangman/anyone or Timeless Toni Storm/Mariah May. All I hear is ”Bloodline,” but I never hear that X match was incredible or that Y promo in it was amazing, and it’s not comparable as far as acting or creativity either. WWE used to have real stories that played out in three acts. Not so much now.
WWE stories are concepts being held together by vibes, squeezed to death until there’s no more juice so they fire the whole stable.
Also, storytelling in the ring is a dying art. Too much “OMG, I accidentally hit my partner” and not enough “OMG, I’m purposely costing my team matches because I’m punishing my partner even at the expense of my own personal gain because X.”
