I mostly lurk and don't post on reddit much, so apologies for formatting, and general idiocy.

I've gotten tired of tracking my car maintenance and fuel ups in a spreadsheet and have decided to build myself an app. It started as a curiosity when I bought my Avalanche, and wanted to track real mpg, not just what the gauge cluster displayed. I didn't think it was super accurate, and just wanted to verify.

Somehow that started an almost obsessive need to track every bit of data I could since. And have for the last year in a spreadsheet. But it just looks bad. It also transferred to my commuter car I bought shortly after.

If this at all interests anybody, what would you track, and how would you like data to be shown? Graphs, averages, lists....

If this goes anywhere, I can post the app for people to use if they'd like. I built a proof of concept in HTML to see what I think I'd like if you'd like to see a screenshot of what I've got so far.
